Travel plans have been made. I am visiting Baltimore again this September for a business retreat with my coach, Anastacia Brice<\/a>, followed by AssistU<\/a>‘s Annual Homecoming celebration which includes accolades from our community.<\/p>\n

Homecoming is something I have looked forward to since joining the AssistU Community as a VA in 2011. \u00a0Each year in September, we get together to learn and grow, build relationships and love on one another, and celebrate the Community Recognition Awards, or CRA’s.<\/p>\n

The event usually travels from coast to coast: 2011, San Diego, CA; 2012, Minneapolis, MN;\u00a0 and last year, Baltimore, MD. This year we return to Baltimore and I have to say I am very excited about it. I fell in love with Baltimore.\"Accolades\"<\/p>\n

One of the things I love most about Homecoming is catching up with the people I have forged relationships with in our community. \u00a0Sometimes it is the only time we see one another face to face. \u00a0It’s a joy to be involved with some of them with clients and to work closely with them throughout the year… but when we get to really be together, magic happens.<\/p>\n

I have been humbled to learn that I was once again been nominated for AssistU VA of the Year. Last year, I was not only blessed by nominations from my peers, I was awarded the 2013 VA of the Year honor. It was quite a moment and one that I did not take lightly. What can be more flattering than to be recognized by peers and colleagues?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so grateful to anyone who thinks I\u2019m again worthy of such an award, and the clients and friends who help make it possible to do what I do every day! It truly is a gift to be on the ballot again for 2014, especially with VA s that I hold in such high esteem myself.<\/p>\n

AssistU VAs\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0are professionals who have completed a rigorous 20-week training program and uphold a stringent\u00a0Code of Ethics<\/a>, providing business support services in a global, virtual environment. We are different from other Virtual Assistants because we focus on long-term partnerships with our clients. We stand for our clients through our own strict business standards, doing work only with clients who \u201cfit\u201d those standards, doing work we love, remaining vested in our clients\u2019 successes, and constantly seeking and sharing new technologies and skills to better serve our clients and our AssistU community.<\/p>\n

Once again I am humbled, privileged, and so appreciative to be a nominee; \u00a0this is a huge honor for me and one that I hope to continue to be worthy of day in and day out in my quest to truly support my clients and their businesses.<\/p>\n
